Everyone's welcome
All In for the Sector
It’s our mission to improve access for D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people in the creative and cultural sector.
Whether you’re a theatre, a museum, an art gallery, a library, or any other type of creative or cultural organisation, we want to help you improve access, welcome new audiences, and increase overall attendance. We recognise the hard work by many organisations across the UK to improve access so far, and we believe that together, we can do even more.
We’re already talking to many organisations, big and small, to make sure our scheme works with existing access scheme, recognises good practice, and can work with mainstream ticketing systems.
Our plan is to:
- Introduce the UK’s first accessibility standards for the creative and cultural sector.
- Offer training, resources, and support to increase staff confidence and help organisations meet these standards.
- Create a single digital system that allows individuals to create an access profile that can be securely shared through your organisation’s All In account.
- Connect creative and cultural organisations with suppliers who can help you improve your access provisions.
- Provide insight and data to give you a better understanding of accessibility in your audience.
We’re not alone in what we want to do. There are many organisations who can help you improve your access right now. Take a look at our support directory where you can find accessibility consultants, freelancers, and organisations from around the UK.
The scheme is currently in development with a pilot planned for 2024.
